Doing Windows builds of software developed on Linux systems has always been hard and boring, and not many people attempt it.
Thanks to the hard work done by the MinGW-w64 people, it's now possible to do these builds comfortably from your Linux system with your usual tools.
This talk will show you how to use the MinGW-w64 toolchain on Linux, starting from the build of a simple Hello World program to a more complex gtk+ application, ending with the generation of an installer ready to deploy on a Windows system, all of that from your warm and cozy Linux terminal
