We apologize to the speakers for the poor quality of some of the videos. We aren't expert on that matter.

OSDC.fr 2012, over and out... ?

15/10/12 14:20 by Laurent Boivin (‎Elbeho‎)

OSDC.fr 2012 occured this week-end as part of the CODE track of Open World Forum.

Many thanks to everybody. As an organizer (Maddingue++), a speaker or part of the audience, you made this conference successful! My personal favorite is Aldebaran Robotics and their cute NAO.

Most conferences of the OSDC.fr banner were shot. Process of encoding is on going. We'll post here how to find them as soon as they're online.

See you next year for OSDC.fr 2013!

Thanks everybody

13/10/12 20:00 by Sébastien Aperghis-Tramoni (‎maddingue‎)

Huge thanks to all the people who attended OSDC.fr. This 2012 edition was a great success thanks to the collaboration with Open World Forum and the other CODE tracks.

We tried to record all the talks on video. We now have a long work of encoding and uploading them on sharing sites. The links will be published when available.

Two errors in the printed schedule

11/10/12 16:20 by Sébastien Aperghis-Tramoni (‎maddingue‎)

We just saw that two errors slept into the printed version of the schedule which you'll get when attending to Open World Forum:

  • the Android track will take place in the Berlin room, not the Dublin room
  • Harald Welte's talks have been inverted, the one on Erlang will be at 11:40 in room Bruxelles and the one on Osmocom at 18:10, same room.

Please check the online schedule, or even better, import it into your mobile device with the ICS version.

Focus on: NAO

09/10/12 20:00 by Sébastien Aperghis-Tramoni (‎maddingue‎)

We have the pleasure to announce that Aldebaran Robotics will do a presentation of their NAO robot on Friday, right after the lightning talks session.

The autonomous humanoid NAO robot is a full-feature pack of high technology. Easy to program, NAO is the standard platform for the Robocup since 2007.

Harald Welte is famous for his contributions to numerous projects, including the Linux kernel, NetFilter, Openmoko, Osmocom, as well as GPL Violations.

He will gratify us with two highly technical talks:

Some last minute schedule changes
