Nowadays, all cool kids deploy their applications on the "cloud". PaaS -Platform-as-a-Service- can ease the deployment of your application by removing the complexity of buying, managing, provisionning the underlying infrastructure.

There are already many great PaaS offerings and even open source ones. But as hacking monkeys, we like to roll our sleeves and do stuff ourselves.
